This is the new Keyes RedBoard Uno R3, the replica of the official Arduino Uno R3. It has all the features of the official Uno R3, including the ATmega16U2 as USB to serial interface. Unlike CH340 chip, this ATmega16U2 allows for faster transfer rates and more memory. No drivers is needed for Linux or Mac, and the Windows driver file is included in the Arduino IDE. The ATmega16U2 also allows this Keyes RedBoard Uno R3 to programmed as a keyboard, mouse, joystick, etc.
The Keyes RedBoard Uno R3 has identical physical dimensions and pinout as official Arduino Uno R3, It works with all existing shields, enclosure as well as the official plastic holder.
Arduino is an open-source physical computing platform based on a simple i/o board and a development environment that implements the Processing/Wiring language. Arduino can be used to develop stand-alone interactive objects or can be connected to software on your computer (e.g. Flash, Processing, MaxMSP). The open-source IDE can be downloaded for free (currently for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux).
Note: Plastic holder is not included.
