This 8 Mega Pixels Camera Module is a custom designed add-on for Jetson Nano. The camera features a Sony IMX-219 image sensor and uses the dedicated CSI interface for connecting to the Jetson Nano.
This camera module is capable of 1080p video and still images. The board itself is tiny, at around 25mm x 24mm and weighing at just over 7g, making it perfect for mobile or other applications where size and weight are important. The camera module has a native resolution of 8 mega pixels, and has an adjustable focus lens with 160 degree view angle. In terms of still images, the camera is capable of 3280 x 2464 pixel static images, and also supports 1080p30, 720p60 and 640x480p60/90 video.
Device drivers for the IMX 219 are already installed. Just plug it in and you're good to go.
Here is a command line to test the camera:
$ gst-launch-1.0 nvarguscamerasrc ! 'video/x-raw(memory:NVMM),width=3820, height=2464, framerate=21/1, format=NV12' ! nvvidconv flip-method=0 ! 'video/x-raw,width=960, height=616' ! nvvidconv ! nvegltransform ! nveglglessink -e
