The SRF485 is a single transducer ultrasonic ranger that uses a standard RS485 interface. Designed for use in car parks, this sensor is suitable for use whenever a large number of sonar's are required.
The multiple sensors (maximum of 127) can exist on a RS485 network once the device address is changed for each ranger. Every SRF485 is programmed at the factory with a unique 24 bit address. The address is written on the PCB of the sensor.
The sensor has a built in voltage regulation system allowing input power between 8 to 24 VDC. The sensing range is from 30cm to 5 meters.
Features:
- Voltage Input: 8v to 24v
- Operating Current: 10mA
- Frequency: 40KHz
- Range: 30cm to 500cm
- Connection: Standard RS485 Bus (38400 baud, 1 start, 2 stop, no parity)
- Up to 127 SRF485's connected to your controller.
- Units: Range reported in uS, cm or inches.
- Temperature Compensation: -30 to +50 centigrade
